KALISPELL - Daniel E. Gilmore, 38, of Kalispell, was called home by his Lord on May 21, 1994.  He was born June 8, 1955, in Plentywood.  He fought cancer courageously for several years.

Dan graduated from West High, Billings, in 1973 and served four years in the Marines.  On Oct. 26, 1974, he married Diana McDade of Billings.

For several years they made their home at the Naval Air Station in Beaufort, S.D.  In 1982, the family moved to Kalispell, and after several jobs, was employed by Flahead Industries, working with the handicapped.  He and Diana were very active in their Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Diana; four children, Benjamin, Beverly, Joseph and Jennifer, at home, Kalispell; two sisters, Melissa Petersen of Lewistown and Mevne "Meg" Frank of Glendive; father Cecil Gilmore; and grandmother, Francis Gilmore of Billings.

He was preceded in death by his mother and three grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at Kalispell.
