Richard Ross Foreman

AURORA, Colo. - Richard Ross Foreman was born on Nov. 29, 1954, at the Hutchinson, Kan., Naval Air Training Station, to Dorothy and Russ Foreman. He was the second of four children. Rick died on Aug. 18, 2008, at his home in Aurora.

He moved with his family to Worden, Mont., and then to Great Falls, Mont., before returning to Billings, where he graduated from Billings West High School in 1973.

Rick enjoyed riding his motorcycle, skiing, camping, rafting and other outdoor activities. These activities led him to the University of New Mexico, where he majored in Business. In 1986, he relocated to Denver, where he was employed as a stock broker and later as a mortgage lender. Rick was a people person. He was happiest when he was able to make others laugh.

In 1995, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Schart of Denver. From this union, a son was born. Andy was the joy of Rick's life and his entire world revolved around Andy. Our entire family loved Rick more than words can express and his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled.

Survivors include his wife Jeanette and son Andrew of Denver; his parents, Dorothy (Armstrong) and Russ Foreman of Billings; his sister, Deborah Foreman and brother Randall Foreman of Denver; his sister, Diane (Mike) Ruby of North Hills, Calif.; plus two nieces and one grandniece.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 1935 Ave. B in Billings on Friday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m.

Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity or the Memorial Fund at Grace United Methodist Church.
