David M. Lund, 26, moved to Billings in 1965, attended Lewis and Clark Junior High, graduated from West High School in 1973 and attended Eastern Montana College.

Born in Denver, CO, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lund.  An apprentice carpenter, he received the Eagle Scout Award and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 1172.

Mr. Lund died Friday in a drowning accident at Martinsdale Lake.

Surviviors include his parents; a sister, Mrs. Jim (Susan) Wisby of Puyallup, WA; and his grandmother, Mrs. Conrad Lund of Madison, MN.

Memorial services will be at 1 pm Monday in American Lutheran Church.  Cremation has taken place with Smith Downtown Chapel in charge.
