Jim Sandall

Jim passed away unexpectedly on the morning of January 2, 2024, at his home.

Jim graduated from Billings West High School in 1973. He went to college in Bozeman then to MSUB for a year.

He worked for The City of Billings Water Department for over 30 years doing numerous jobs.

Jim married his wife Lori on September 15, 1984. On August 30, 1988, his only child was born Theodore (Theo) James Sandall.

In his spare time, Jim’s biggest passion was golf. He played golf at Pryor Creek Golf Club. He also took care of the men’s league for several years. Jim has made many special friends there.

Jim also loved to play pool. He played for The Knights of Columbus for several years. He also was becoming a very coming a very good wood worker, making many things for their house and shop.

Jim also served on the Yellowstone County Park Board for several years.

Jim was an amazing person to know, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

He will be truly missed by his wife Lori, son Theo, his wife Kirby, grandchildren Hugo and Jasper. His brother Dan, his wife Pamela, niece, and nephews; Christine, Andrew, and Benjamin. His in-laws Bernie and Eunice Flagler. His brother-in-law Steve Bushman and numerous friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Arline Sandall.

There will be a memorial service held later this spring.
