Odessa, aka Debbie, was born May 3, 1955.  She is the daughter of Thomas and the late Roma Schara.  Odessa was raised in Billings until she graduated in 1973 from Billings West High School.  Odessa moved to San Jose, Calif., after graduation and there she met and married her husband Karl.  Their son Zack was born in 1990.

After the death of her husband in 1992, Odessa and Zack moved back to Billings, where she resided until her death.

Odessa leaves behind her son, Zack; her four brothers, Tim, Dave, Mike and Terry Schara; a sister, Carla Bauer; and her father, Tom.  She also leaves behind her special friend, Bill Stewart.

Odessa, we will miss your quick wit and laughter, your outstanding personality, along with your generous heart.

Even though you are no longer with us, we know that you are being comforted by Karl, Mom, Grandpa and Grandma.

Private family services are planned.  Dahl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
