Gregory Simpson

Today we say good-by to Deacon Gregory Simpson.  Greg was born in 1954, and lived in Billings until he joined the Navy.  He met the love of his life, Kathleen Dietrich, and they married in 1974. They moved overseas and had two sons, EJ and Brian.  After proudly serving 21 years he retired in 1994. In 2014, he was Ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church where he was a faithful servant in the Community.  He will be dearly missed.  Memorials may be given to the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel Construction Fund. Vigil services will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, and the Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, both at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

Greg was a nice classmate. I randomly met him again when I attended St Thomas church here in Billings. He was a deacon and a faithful spiritual leader. It was a pleasure connecting with him on Facebook. He loved tropical fish 🐠  ✝️

RIP 12/16/2016. Gone too soon. Thank you for your service -retired U.S. Navy. I'll always remember the fun times we had growing up.
