SAN ANGELO, Texas — Timothy Lane Skaggs, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Aug. 27, 2013, of natural causes. He was 57 years old. Tim graduated high school from Billings West High School in 1973.

Tim obtained a nursing degree in 1986 from West Texas State University and served as a registered nurse for nearly 30 years. He was a gifted mentor and nurse who was passionate about patient care and always doing the right thing.

He was survived by his wife of 35 years, Suzy Skaggs of San Angelo, Texas; daughters Misty Skaggs of Coleman, Texas, and Tifany Hamlin of Little Rock, Ark.; his mother, Thelma Skaggs of Billings; his brother Mike Skaggs and family of Billings; his sister, Lynda O'Rear and family of Nashville, Tenn.; Cecil and Vernell Skaggs and family of Norman, Okla., and Tulsa, Okla. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Skaggs.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. His family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his memory to Rocky Mountain Hospice.
