
Janice Eileen Michels, 18, died Friday morning in her home. Authorities suspect asphyxiation. Yellowstone County Coroner, Leonard A Larsen Jr., said an autopsy was performed to determine the cause of death but no medical results were yet available.
Miss Michels was born October 1, 1955, in Billings, MT, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene F. Michels. She attended Billings schools and graduated from West High School in 1973. She had worked as a retail clerk in different stores and at the time of her death was working a J.C. Penneys.
Survivors include the parents, the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Coleman; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Neal; a brother, David, and a sister, Mrs. Dianne McCombs, both of Billings.
