William “Bill” South

I attended Eastern Montana college from 1973 to 1977. I received my bachelors of science in biology with a minor in chemistry. In 1979, I was offered a research assistantship at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu. I met my wife, Louise, in 1980 in Honolulu at Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Store. We married in 1981. I graduated with my masters in tropical agriculture in 1983. That year I started a company, Manufacturers Agency Pacific. I managed the company for 30 years. I was hired by the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands in 2011 as the Project Manager for all Dept. construction on the island of Kauai. My wife Louise is a classically trained soprano and teaches voice and piano. I am involved with the Hawaii Democratic Party, serving as District 48 Chair for Windward Oahu. For fun, I write music. My prospects for becoming a teen idol are diminishing. We spend our time between our home in Hawaii and our place outside of Sheridan, Montana. In Montana, I assist the Madison County Democrats.

I’m sure I will remember something funny West High experiences before the reunion.
